We started Tuesday morning by visiting Chigwell School in Chigwell, England. It's a 45-minute train ride north of London. The dormitories were different from other schools we've visited. The school currently has 28 international students and four dormitories. These dormitories are small, historic houses located on campus. Each dormitory has a housemaster and family, creating a wonderful atmosphere. It's like living with a family rather than living on your own. Just like a home, you have a kitchen where you can cook meals and make snacks, and a living room where you can hang out with your friends and watch TV or play games. Each dormitory has a helper who cleans your room, does your laundry, irons your clothes, and prepares your meals.
The campus is beautiful and offers a variety of sports. Sixth From helps students from universities and career paths, regardless of their chosen destination. It helps students complete all application forms in advance and helps them apply early. The Risham Sarao Sixth Form Center, a learning center, features six classrooms, study and social areas, a career and university counseling center, a café, and ample seating areas. It's also designed for students to gather, study, and take breaks during lunch and free time.
