In 9th grade, I went to the study abroad counselor at Ted Ankara College to study abroad for a year. He told me about the ASSIST program. He explained that it offered ample scholarships to successful students and was a program that would meet my expectations, but the required exam dates had passed. Before I contacted LMK, my only option was a Canadian program, which I could attend without any scholarships.  When I went to the LMK office for an interview, Leyla confidently spoke about boarding schools in the US.
