Studying abroad was the greatest decision I've ever made. Initially, my goal was to get a good education and gain opportunities I couldn't find in Turkey. Today, as I look back on my fourth year in the US, I realize that what this experience has taught me has far surpassed my initial goals. I've had the opportunity to do things I never imagined, like becoming captain of the volleyball team at Berkshire School, discovering a previously undiscovered virus, and founding a chess club. I've encountered a culture different from the one I grew up in, and its people have become my family. By expressing myself in a different language in daily life, I've discovered new facets of myself. As I grappled with the challenges of living far from my home, family, and country, I learned to stand on my own two feet, and LMK Consulting provided me with unwavering support and assistance throughout this process. As I achieved these goals and adjusted to my new life, I learned and developed my own self-confidence, becoming a more versatile and outgoing person. I'm currently a student at the University of California, Los Angeles, studying molecular biology and genetics. Although this is my first year at this school, thanks to my high school experience in the US, I've settled into my school without any difficulties. I'm significantly different from when I first arrived in the US. I no longer feel alone here, I can easily communicate with people from all cultures, and I can take confident steps toward my future. Yes, studying abroad isn't the easiest thing in the world, but I believe it's an ideal experience for learning, developing, and becoming self-sufficient. Lmk Consulting will provide you with significant support in this endeavor.
