Safiye Öykü İnce began her ambitious academic pursuits in middle school. She attended Emine Örnek College and Private Çağdaş Öncü Schools on a full academic scholarship and graduated from Robert College, where she also received a full scholarship during her high school years. During her time at Robert College, she explored interests such as law and politics, serving as co-president of the Robert College Law Society. She has written on various topics in the Istanbul Chronicle. She has volunteer experience at the Istanbul Youth Platform, including teaching and managing social media. She led projects in Robert College's community projects. She wrote her research report, "An Examination of the "Turkishness" of the Corsairs from "Turkish" Abductions," while still in high school.
She has combined all of this with one of Turkey's most successful chess careers. Playing professionally since the age of six, she has won over 60 trophies and over 200 medals. At the age of 13, she won all nine matches in the 13-year-old girls' category of the Turkish Junior Chess Championship, a first never achieved by anyone else in that category. This achievement was also cited in Dimes Hak Alerli's book "Chess Psychology." She is among Turkey's top 15 female chess players.
She is currently studying in the Sciences Po Paris and LUISS Dual Degree Program. She participates in numerous university clubs, including the Debate Club and UNICEF, and helps our students with their essays.
